IQNA – An Egyptian child born with no nose and no eyes has memorized the Quran.

Mohamed, an 11-year-old boy who has no nose and eyes, has learned the Quran by heart.

Mohamed, who is 11, also has an exceptional talent in reciting the Quran imitating the style of famous qaris.

Recently, he was the guest of the program “One of the People” on Egypt’s Al-Hayat Network, which is hosted by the famous presenter Amr al-Laithi.

Mohamed said that he had memorized the Quran with the help of Allah and support from his parents.

He said he thanks God for his condition. The child prodigy added that he is trying to be a good person and serve his country and religion.

The boy recited verses from the Quran in the program and demonstrated his ability to imitate the most famous qaris.

Mohamed then performed pieces of music that reflected his mood and also sang several religious hymns and performed a song in praise of his mother.

His mother said on the show that everyone would be surprised to see Mohamed’s condition.

There are only seven cases of this type of physical deformity in the world, and only one in Egypt and the Middle East, she noted.

“Because of the difficult circumstances and also because so many doctors had said that Mohamed would not recover and would die, I had no hope, but, thank God, he survived and learned the Quran by heart.”
